Nantucket is an excellent place for learning more about trees, with its diversity of native, introduced, and domestic species. Getting started can be difficult if you don’t know what to look for. Join Dan Souza, MMA’s Museum Manager, on a low-difficulty walk around the MMA campus and Mill Hill. We will learn about the importance of trees in local ecosystems, adaptations of native species, and we will identify various species along the way!
This program is designed to be appropriate for ages 8 and up. Pre-registration required. In the case of inclement weather, programs will be cancelled and participants will be notified.
