Stars & Senses Night Hike

Join Dan Souza, MMA’s Museum Manager, for an evening hike under the stars. During the walk you will participate in a color vision activity, learn how our eyes adjust to the dark, listen for nocturnal animals, take a solo journey if you dare, and enjoy a minty snack while learning about bioluminescence. At the end of the walk, sit back and relax while you hear stories of summer constellations.

This program is appropriate for children ages 8 and up, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required.  The program will meet at the state forest parking lot on Lover’s Lane. In the case of inclement weather, programs will be cancelled and participants will be notified.
