Participants should meet at the Oldest House on Sunset Hill (tour will end on Main Street). Our staff will assist you and answer questions while you view the wonders of the night sky through up to three different telescopes\, including our historic 8-inch Alvan Clark refractor and our modern 24-inch research telescope. Get a chance to view the Moon\, planets\, bright stars\, nebulae\, and even other galaxies! Learn about the cutting-edge research being conducted by Maria Mitchell Observatory astronomers and interns. The presentation will end with a constellation tour outside on the observatory deck.  \nPrograms take place at 59 Milk Street Extension and are weather permitting.

Get a chance to view the Moon\, planets\, bright stars\, nebulae\, and even other galaxies! Learn about the cutting-edge research being conducted by Maria Mitchell Observatory astronomers and interns. The presentation will end with a constellation tour outside on the observatory deck.  \nPrograms take place at 59 Milk Street Extension and are weather permitting.
